Moving social photos between services

Have I missed something out there on the Internet?

I cannot find any good reliable service which can take care of moving a large batch of photos from one service to another, whilst keeping all of a photos associated meta data (title, description, tags etc.) intact.

What if I wanted to migrate from Flickr to Picasa, or Facebook to Picasa? Or hell Picasa to Facebook? Seems like a gaping hole that nobody has filled - to just make the job so damn easy for somebody to move around.

All the services have the APIs and supporting example code for at least a common language like PHP.

I reckon there is gold to be made in them hills … and somebody just needs to step up and make it easy for everyday consumers and not code hackers to move their photos around.

Google’s Data Liberation initiative is a good example of providing ways for normal people to move their data around - but Google is only catering for getting the data out, not in to another service.
